THE COMPANY
Messrs John Akhamie & Company is an indigenous firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The firm was established in 1992.
We are recognized by the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria to practise Real Estate Consultancy throughout the country.
We are also a corporate member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and to which many of our professional Staff belong.
EXPERIENCE
We have carried out major Real Estate Consultancy Services for Federal/State Governments and their parastatals, reputable organizations as well as individuals.

JOB DELIVERY SCHEDULE
Delivery of reports on small and medium size jobs (simple industrial, office or residential developments, plant and Machinery etc.) is within 7-14 days.
Large industrial companies, chains of premises and assets spread nationwide or over large geographical areas may take between 30-90 days post commissioning for submission. However, where a time limit is imposed, we usually comply.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE
We are involved in general real estate practice with bias for the following professional services:
(1) VALUATION of landed properties both urban and rural including items of plant and machinery and other assets for all purposes such as:
a) Sales and purchases
b) Mortgage
c) Insurance
d) Accounting
e) Taxation, including Rating
(2) PROPERTY AND TOTAL FACILITY MANAGEMENT in respect of all types of property developments and installations thereon.
(3) CONSULTANCY SERVICES in capital project development including:
a) Feasibility and Viability studies.
b) Sourcing and negotiating financing terms.
c) Site assembly and acquisition including assessment and
settlement of compensation claims under compulsory acquisition exercises.
d) Advice on planning and layout designs including land use studies.
e) Advice on Redevelopment, Renewal and Resettlement schemes.
FINANCIAL STRENGTH/RESOURCE MOBILISATION
Our offices are adequately staffed and manned by qualified and experienced professionals.
We also have the means and capacity to mobilize staff within short notice to execute any type of our professional services
anywhere in the country. Where the need arises, we are equally capable of expanding our staff strength within short notice
and to deliver jobs within a given period.

Dr. John Akhamie served in various capacities as Branch Manager, Senior Manager, Zonal Manager, Chief Surveyor and a partner in Harriman & Co. (a foremost indigenous Estate firm) before branching out to set up his own practice under the name and style of John Akhamie & Co.
During his service with the above-mentioned firms, he participated actively in the letting/management of various classes of landed properties and single handedly carried out or supervised major valuation assignments for Federal/State Governments and their parastatals as well as private firms and individuals.
In addition, Dr. John Akhamie has up till date always attended refresher courses often organized by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and Allied Institutions on various contemporary topics.
